Character Profile- Eric Venturi

NAME- Eric Venturi
STATUS- Half-Blood; Father came from a long line of Purebloods, but instead of continuing that tradition, he fell in love with a Muggle. Even though she wasn't a Witch, his parents still liked her, but, of course, they loved their other son's wife more...
OCCUPATION- The (newest) DADA Professor at Avalorn. The previous one retired. Before he got the position at Avalorn, he worked some in the Muggle world, as a teacher's assistant. 
HOUSE- Gerwulf was his old house before he graduated.
AGE- 19
PERSONALITY- Eric was raised to be a gentleman at all times by his parents. He always does his best to follow to rule. He cares a lot about the people who are close to him and he is very protective of them. 
BIO- Raised in a home with magic, but with a muggle mother, Eric felt he was privileged to live on both sides of the world: magic and non magic. His grandparents on both sides always treated him with love, even though he was born of the two worlds. His cousin, Gaston, however, never got along with him. Eric at first wanted to be friends with his cousin, but he quickly learned that his uncle had influenced the boy to dislike Eric. His uncle and aunt on his father side, didn't like him or his mother all that much, sure, they would pretend to like them, just to give their parents and Eric's father a show. For awhile, Eric's father believed it, until he opened his eyes to the truth. His father never stopped loving his wife and son though and they were both proud when he got the letter to Avalorn. They were proud he joined the same house as his father had, Gerwulf. When Eric first brought Odette home to meet his family, his mother fell in love with her. Eric was relieved that his parents liked Odette. Eric's father warned him though about what his uncle and cousin were up to his Odette's father, which infuriated Eric to no end that they were trying to force Odette to be with his cousin, Gaston. His parents thought it was a wise choice when Eric decided to become a professor at Avalorn.
MAGICAL TRAIT- He has the Animugus form of a grey Wolf.


Relationship status: Currently in a relationship with Odette Paranell. They started dating when he was in his sixth year at Avalorn. Being half-blood, her father doesn't approve of their "relationship" and now being a teacher at Avalorn, they have to keep their relationship on the down-low, even if she's in her seventh year at Avalorn.
