Personality – An easy going and laid back guy, when he’s not in class that is. While working he can sometimes come off as strict teacher who enjoys giving his students unprepared tests and doesn’t approve of any slacking off during it. But he can still have his own weird humor during a class. He sees someone pull a prank, he pulls a prank right back at the stundent.
When not in the classroom, he takes things easy and never rushes anything. He’s the sort of guy that gets angry over something, and then simply gets over it, never holding any grudge.
For him, everyone is equal, doesn’t care of what status you have or who you may be, he treats everyone the same. To him, the talk about pureblood, muggleborn and half-blood are nothing but bullshit. Even the sorting out into different houses is sometimes seen unnecessary to him. But still, he has always had did easy to accept new and different things without judging.
He’s the type who enjoys the present and wouldn’t worry too much of the future, never thinks back on the past and take things as they come. He minds his own business, but never takes any shit from anyone and is always straight to the point, making him very blunt and frank. He can be very sarcastic at times, but of course he’s also a teacher, and helps out with thing if he’s asked to or can.

Bio- Dean’s given name when he was born was Adam Falk, and grew up the first part of his life in Sweden. His parents being scientists, had always been busier with work than able to spend more time with their child, and eventually he was moved to live with his grandmother. Most of the time, she’d take him travelling as it turned out he had family spread out all over Europe, and thus making him have a great hunger for knowledge and curiosity about history and myths.
Even though his grandmother had always believed in the supernatural, Dean never did. For him science was the answer to everything, and if something couldn’t be explained logically than it just couldn’t exist.
Even when not believing in magic, he had a real nice life and never asked for anything more, content with the simple and peaceful ways. Then it all took a drastically turn when his parents had been reported missing, and the next thing he knew he and his grandmother moved to America, hiding from someone or something. He never got an explanation for why, and never saw his parents again. They changed their life style, their name, everything that made Dean feel like himself.
Later that year, Dean had started to notice strange things. Things would randomly caught fire, or sometimes freeze into ice sculptors. While this made his grandma excited, it only scared him. He didn’t understand, couldn’t explain it… so he couldn’t like it. Shortly after wards a letter arrived, saying he was invited to begin in Avalorn, school for witchcraft and sorcery. He only went after countless nagging and words of how grateful he should be for this chance from his guardian.
He didn’t like anything to do with magic the first year, but thanks to a certain friend slowly began to accept it. Turned out he had natural skills for spell casting and had a very easy way to learn. Even still, he sometimes ‘forgets’ to use magic and would just handle things without it. The scientist part of him never left.
After graduating his 7th year, his grandma passed away, but he was not alone. He had befriended a pureblood from the Gerwulf house, who eh some years later married. He had sort of left the school and anything to do with magic for a more… normal life. His wife hadn’t minded, as she still was free to do whatever she wanted and was more than curious about the muggle-world. Dean would’ve been a history teacher, in a normal school with no magical beings close by. But then things changed again for worse in his case.
One late he afternoon after his 27th birthday, he had found his wife slowly dying, and their newborn child missing. It was doing by magic, he could tell, because no matter what he did she still died in the end. She had made him promise though to keep living, be happy, and to find their kid.
Surprising even himself, he returned to Avalorn as a teacher shortly after her burial, beginning yet a new chapter in life, again.

Magical Trait – Besides from being a natural talent and fast learner in magic, he can read and translate ancient runes and writings with ease. This gives him the privilege to learn the old/ancient magic, or old forgotten stories/secrets from the dark times. Already being well educated in many different languages (no magic used for that, he studied the normal way xD) it doesn’t matter where the runes would be or come from, he can read it.
