First Date (shared fanfic with Eric) {Rated R}

Odette slipped out of the castle once she had a chance and hurried down to the lake, where she was going to meet Eric for a date.  She liked him and he was much nicer then his cousin Gaston who her dad kept insisting she go out with not that she ever wanted too.  She finally made it at the place where she had agreed to meet him, she didn't see him around but that didn't mean he wasn't there.  She leaned against the tree and fiddled with her wand, what if he didn't want to meet her?  She forced that thought to the back of her mind, no she was certain he liked her.

Eric smiled when he saw Odette was waiting for him. He said a spell with his wand and made a white sego lily appear in his hand. He walked up behind her and slipped his arm out, having the lily appear in front of her face.

"Milady..." He said, with a charming smile, as he stepped into her view. He took in what she was wearing and smiled. "You look beautiful." He said, stating exactly how he felt.

Odette laughed, a gentle warm sound as she accepted the flower with a smile. "Why thank you." She said, her short white sleeveless summer dress was something she had picked out just for this date. "You're quite handsome yourself." She said gently as she smiled up at him from under her lashes. It was true, he looked even more attractive up close and she felt her heart flutter as she smiled at him.

Eric smiled. "You ready?" He asked, offering his arm for her to take.

He led her to one of the boats that would take them to the village. "All right, so, do you want to eat now, or go somewhere then eat?" He asked, knowing what he had planned already, no matter what she was in the mood for.

He helped her into the boat.

She smiled at him, "Wherever is fine with me...really." She said honestly. Besides that she liked being surprised now and again. "I do like surprises." She added with a little smile, but only if they were the pleasant kind.

Eric smiled. "All right." He said, before tapping the boat, sending them on their way.

They arrived at the docks of the village, where Eric helped her out of the boat, as the boat tide itself off to the dock.

"Okay, you got to close your eyes for this." He said, moving in front of her.

He was praying and hoping she would like the surprise he had in mind.

She blinked in surprise at his request but closed her eyes, "Ok." She said with a little laugh, she wondered just what it was that he was planning.

Eric smiled as he grabbed her hands. "I'll be leading you, so you gotta trust me. I promise not to lead you into a wall or anything." He said, giving her hands a gentle squeeze.

He started leading her into village, making sure to let her know of any steps or low hangings.

After a good distance, Eric moved behind her. "Okay... you can open." He said, softly, slightly close to her ear.

In front of them was a carnival with no lines, no waiting...

It was all for them for that one night.

She wondered where he was taking her, it seemed to be pretty far and when he told her she could open her eyes she stared at the carnival with absolute shock. "This...this is...amazing!" She said joyfully before she turned to smile happily up at him, "This is the greatest thing, anyone's ever done for me." She said honestly before she stretched up and kissed him on the cheek before grabbing his hand and leading him forward, "Come on!" She said as she hurried to the nearest booth.

Eric smiled, relieved that she liked it, before she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

He didn't get a chance to react to it when she grabbed his hand and hurried them inside the carnival. He had a big grin on his face the whole time.

He laughed when they made it to the booth. It was a wand shooting game, but you had to use the wands they provided. The targets were the death eaters in masks.

Charming... He thought, not having looked over the games so much. He played this one as a kid before, but remembered his uncle complaining about it to his mother once.

"You want to go first?" He asked, looking at her, before he placed any money down.

She looked up at him surprised and bit her lip, "Yeah, I can help pay though." She said as she smiled gently at him. She was amazed that he had bought out the entire carnival just for her...no one had ever done that for her before, and it made her...happy.

"No, it's my treat; I wouldn't be a gentleman if I didn't pay for it all." He said, smiling at her.

"Besides, most everything is paid for already; just a few games haven't been." He said, shrugging.

"Whenever you are ready." The owner of the booth said, giving the couple a smile.

She smiled gratefully at him, "Thank you." She said softly as she turned to smile at the owner, "Um yeah I'm ready." She said.

The owner nodded. "All right, hit as many as the death eaters as you can. You have to use our wands. If you hit over five, you got a prize, over ten, you get a large prize. If you hit up to twenty, you get two prizes of your choice from the whole booth; no limits." He said, smiling, before displaying a clock. "You have thirty seconds. If you go a second round, I'll give you a minute. Any other tries, extra money will have to be placed." He said, before starting the game.

Odette nodded and then took the game wand, once the game started she cast spells at the death eaters and was actually surprised at how many she took down. When the game was over she had managed to hit fifteen all in total and laughed a little bit, "Do you want to try?" She asked as she looked up at Eric, she still had to pick her prize but she didn't want to be the only one to have some fun.

The owner let out a laugh. "Very good! You have a natural talent! Go on! Pick a large prize!" He said, waving his hand towards the large prizes.

The owner turned to Eric. "Come on, son, take a shot. Let's see if you're as good as your girlfriend here." He said, nodding to Odette.

Eric smiled and took the wand. "Let's see if I can get you another prize." He said, smirking, before the timer and game started.

He shot curses at the death eaters, never liking the evil that they spread. Before he knew it, the timer went off and he ended up shooting 20 even.

"Ah, very good." The owner said, nodding. "Looks like your beautiful girlfriend gets three prizes now." He said, winking at Odette.

Eric smiled, looking over at Odette. "Pick anything you want." He said, nodding to the prizes.

She laughed and then studied the prizes before she picked out a large stuffed wolf, a large unicorn and then looked at Eric, " Its only fair you get to pick the last one." She said as she clung to the stuffed wolf and unicorn.
(Yes the wolf toy was on purpose XD)

Eric tried to hide his smirk when she picked a wolf. "All right." He said, chuckling when she insisted on him picking one.

He looked around, before he saw what he wanted. "I'd like the swan." He said, pointing to the white swan.

The owner handed him the swan and smiled. "You two should come try this again later on! I can make it more challenging for you!" He nodded.

"We might, thanks." Eric said, smiling as turned to Odette with the Swan.

{OOC: And yes, the swan was on purpose }

She grinned when she saw him pick out the Swan, "Good choice." She said as she smiled up at him, "So want to do another game?" She asked as she turned to look at the carnival.

"We can do another game or ride a ride; your pick." He said, nodding towards the rides.

"Want me to carry those for you?" He asked, his mother's teachings kicking in again.
