Friends or enemies? Frienemies! {Shared fanfic with Susanna}

Belle shrugged. "Because their is more to life then hatred. If hatred is the only thing that people show to other people, then life would be pointless. Plus, I really don't like fighting you."

She frowned. "I don't hate people. I just don't trust outsiders. That is why I test them first."

Belle looked at Susanna. "Three years."

She shrugged. "Yes, maybe. So what?"
She couldn't understand what was such a big deal about it. Pushing people to show their true colors before she trusted them was the safest to her. Then she didn't need to cry about people breaking her or Rosa's heart, or telling their secrets to other people. Basically it came down on having Rosa on her side and everyone else out there against them, determined to rip them apart.

"We've known each other for three years. Isn't that enough for you? I've tried to be nice to you, but you keep on pushing me away. All I want is a frienship between us. I don't want to be your enemy."

She looked at Belle for a long while, thinking. "Well... I suppose I can be more nicer to you from now on." That was the best she could offer right now.

Belle thought for a second and then shrugged. "I guess that's a bonus."

She couldn't help but to laugh a little. "Yes. I guess so."
She knew she wasn't the easiest person to live with. Rosia was much more social, even had had some boyfriends for show. But it was never Susanna's nature to try and please people she didn't care much about.

Belle smiled. "Soooo... Read any good books lately?"

Susanna shook her head rather amused. "I don't read books that much. I am more into physical excersise. I do read horror stories though. If they are short."

"Oh," Belle said, wondering what they should talk about.

Susanna had to laugh at her face. "I know you love books. But that doesn't mean I have to love them too." She ruffeled Belle's hair. "Perhaps you can get me to read one that sounds interesting enough. No promises.
And maybe I can get you to join me for a run sometimes." She laughed.

"Hey!" Belle said, laughing and covering her head with her hands. "No touching the hair. And I guess running could be a little bit fun. And I think I might know a book that you could like."

Susanna raised her eyebrow. "Oh really? What book would that be?" She was amused. Had this girl really gotten to know her likes and dislikes so quickly?

Belle bit her lip and tried to think of some books. "Ok, these are only some suggestions. I don't really know you that well, but I'm going to try. Ok.... Um, "Les Miserrables" or "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" by Victor Hugo? "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky?" Then Belle shrugged, rested her elbow on her knee and her chin on her hand. "I don't know, they're only suggestions."

She knew the first two book by name, and something about the plot. "Hmm... What is the Wallflower one about? The Hogo ones are too much of a sob stories for me."

Belle smiled, thinking about the book. "It's really, really good in my opinion. The book is following the life of a high school Muggle freshman as he goes through the ups and downs of high school. The chapters are all written out in letters to an Anonymous person, and Charlie always starts out with "Dear Friend'. It's very haunting and beautiful. This book actually explains what teenagers go through. It's really beautiful and amazing."

"Bleh... Another sob story. Sorry Belle, but those don't really intrest me. Nice try though." She patted the girls shoulder. Standing up.
"Want to go for a jog with me tomorrow morning?" She asked with a smile.

Belle shrugged. "Well, at least I tried. And sure, I would love to."
