Personality: Merida does not hate muggles, she admires them really. How they work and live without magic and manage to use their own physical and mental skills to get them where they are. However she knows where her loyalties lie, so if confronted by a muggle, squib, or mudblood she keeps a distance. Around her friends Merida is very bubbly, courageous, and impudent. Unfortunately Merida is not as tolerant of criticism as her friend Mavis. If insulted or tormented Merida will strike out and likely knock you off your feet with her favorite spell, a smirk on her face, but will also deflate for a while, lacking in her usual high spirits. Often she’s comforted by Mavis who threatens to throw an imperious curse at anyone who messes with her best friend.
Past: Merida has no memory of her past. She lothes her family for "abandoning her." Since she was young she was raised in a muggle orphanage until she received her acceptance letter.
Magical Traits: Aside from being an Animagus Merida has a strong ability with mind reading and fortune telling. Usually her fortunes are small things like grades on a test or when someone is about to get hurt. With her mind reading it is very frustrating and blurry. Occasionally she can tell when someone is lying or can grasp brief visualizations of a persons thoughts.

I hope that she and Belle can be friends. I can kinda see Jane as the big sister type to her (if that's o.k. with you ).

@Belle Waterrs Yeah I can see them getting along. Mavis has somewhat of a tight grip on Merida but that doesn't stop her from making friends
